Prema Court

Prema Court is registered to provide accommodation and support for up to 44 people living with mental health illness. At the time of this assessment, only a small number of people remained, none receiving a regulated activity, and two local authorities had stopped placing people there. The service remains rated inadequate, following breaches of regulation identified previously, and enforcement action against the provider has now concluded with conditions added to its registration.

Inspectors found a new manager in post since February 2026, with an action plan, updated policies and ongoing environmental improvements. Staff described good support and confident management, though no new recruitment had taken place. Because no regulated activity was being delivered, the CQC could not fully re-rate the service, and it has been placed in dormancy until this changes.
