The home had implemented a purpose-built visiting pod with a clear screen separating visitors from residents, allowing one or two visitors at a time to visit by appointment through a separate garden entrance. During the inspection, these visits were suspended, though phone and video calls by appointment remained available for residents to maintain contact with family and friends, ensuring fair access for everyone.
