About Pondsmead Care Home
Pondsmead Care Home provides nursing and residential care for up to 76 older people. At the time of inspection, 51 people lived at the home, with 28 requiring nursing care and 23 requiring personal care support.
Staff numbers were adequate to keep people safe and meet their needs. People reported that staff responded promptly to requests for assistance and answered call bells quickly. Residents appeared comfortable and relaxed with the staff supporting them. People received their prescribed medicines safely, with staff who administered medicines having received specific training.
