Pine Lodge

Pine Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 22 older people, including those living with dementia, with 19 residents at the time of inspection. The service also operates a home care service on the same site, supporting 55 people in their own homes across Milton and Weston Super Mare. The residential facility is spread over two floors with communal lounges, a dining room, and a front garden.

Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches in their best interests. Medicines were managed and administered safely, though temperatures in some storage areas were occasionally too high. While recruitment processes were generally followed, inspectors found that further clarification of employment history was sometimes needed in specific cases.
