Earlfield Lodge

Earlfield Lodge is a residential home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 35 older adults, including people living with dementia. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement on its previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found the provider had addressed earlier breaches, with safer recruitment, refurbished premises, person-centred care plans, and better oversight following the office's relocation.

Some areas still needed work: risk management, learning from incidents, fire risk assessments and complaints recording required further attention. Staff were described as kind and attentive, and people said the home had improved significantly. Medicines were managed safely, the environment was clean, and people spoke positively about food, activities and staff approachability.
