Philia Lodge Rest Home provides personal care for up to 20 people, some of whom live with dementia, in a two-storey building with lift access. The CQC rated the service good overall, prompted by a review of concerns about safety, but found no significant issues affecting people's wellbeing.

Inspectors found staff were skilled, kind and knew people well, with safe medicines management overall, though some record-keeping around medicine patches and care plan detail needed improvement, and action was taken during the assessment. Relatives felt confident their loved ones were safe, praised the new manager's communication, and welcomed steps taken to boost activities.
