Ontario Court

Ontario Court is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to three people, with capacity for up to eight. Each person has a self-contained lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, along with access to shared communal areas. The service maintains a safe, clean environment equipped to meet residents' physical and emotional needs, with staff implementing measures to reduce COVID-19 transmission.

Staff focus on residents' strengths and abilities, supporting them to pursue interests both inside and outside the home and work towards personal aspirations and goals. The service works with people to plan for periods of distress, aiming to minimise restrictions and maximise freedom and choice. Staff receive training in restraint procedures and are confident in their application; at inspection, restraint had been identified as necessary for one person as a last resort.
