Pavilion Court

Pavilion Court provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 75 younger and older people, including those living with dementia, mental health needs or a physical or learning disability. It is rated Requires Improvement overall. The CQC found the previous breach around safe care had been resolved, but inspectors identified issues with infection prevention, control and the safety and presentation of the premises, along with a breach relating to governance, as oversight had not caught these problems.

Staff were found to be kind and caring, and there were enough trained, competent staff to keep people safe. People and relatives spoke positively, describing the home as safe and well managed. Improvements were underway, including a refurbishment plan, but the CQC said further work was needed to strengthen oversight.
