Kenton Hall Nursing Home

Kenton Hall Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 60 people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 24 people were residing at the home across two floors with access to communal lounges and dining areas. Medicines processes are managed safely with clear oversight and well-maintained records. Staff demonstrate good knowledge of people's medicinal needs, with training and competence assessments kept up to date. The manager and clinical lead are responsive to areas for improvement.

Activities are varied and vibrant, combining group activities with one-to-one time. The activities coordinator and staff show good knowledge of people's individual needs, likes and dislikes. Despite pandemic restrictions, staff have minimised people's isolation from their community through charity events, video calls and outdoor visiting spaces.
