Parvale House

Parvale House provides accommodation with personal care for up to six adults with complex needs and behaviours associated with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a genetic condition characterized by an abnormal, insistent desire for food that can lead to excessive eating and life-threatening obesity. At the time of inspection, all six places were occupied.

Staff and management demonstrate exceptional passion for providing individualized, person-centred care tailored to each resident's specific needs, goals and aspirations. They work as a cohesive team focused on enabling maximum independence. People are treated as individuals with their care bespoke to their exact requirements, and residents and their families are central to the care planning process and feel genuinely listened to. Without exception, residents spoke positively about their experiences and the successes they have been supported to achieve.
