Parris Lawn

Parris Lawn is a purpose-built nursing home providing personal and nursing care to up to 62 people. At the time of inspection, 55 residents were living at the home, many with complex needs including stroke, heart disease, diabetes and dementia, alongside the general frailties associated with older age.

Concerns had been raised about medicine systems, staffing levels and end of life care at the home. The provider took immediate action to address safety issues and shared an action plan identifying further areas for improvement, including how complaints were being handled.
