Claydon House

Claydon House provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 49 people, with 33 residents at the time of inspection. The service cares mainly for older people with various needs including diabetes, heart conditions, and dementia. Several residents require specialist support from trained staff due to behaviours associated with their conditions.

People at the home feel safe and protected from harm and abuse. Residents, relatives and loved ones confirmed they felt secure in the service. Staff have received safeguarding training and understand the steps to take if they suspect abuse. Care plans include relevant risk assessments tailored to individual needs, covering areas such as diabetes management and wound care.
