Dean Wood Care Home

Dean Wood Care Home accommodates up to 80 people requiring nursing care and support for various conditions including arthritis, frailty, mobility issues, and dementia. The service is divided across three floors: the ground floor supports people with dementia, the first floor cares for those with nursing needs, and the second floor provides lower-level care support. At the time of inspection, 60 people were living at the service.

The home had appropriate procedures in place for visiting, including checks of COVID-19 passports for visitors. The service demonstrated examples of good practice in managing access and infection control.
