Parklands is a residential care home providing personal care to 18 people aged 65 and over. The large premises is located on the edge of a rural village across two floors, accessible by lift, ramp and stair lift. At the time of inspection, 13 people were living there.

Following the previous inspection, a new experienced management team and staff group were employed to address identified concerns. The provider visits weekly to support the team, and they conduct regular audits to monitor the quality of care. The management and staff have worked to ensure that breaches found at the previous inspection have been addressed.
