Could the NHS fund Parklands Care Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
Parklands Care Home accommodates 42 people with personal care needs, some of whom live with dementia. On inspection day, 31 people were using the service. The home had implemented strong infection control measures, including checks on visitors' Covid-19 test results and vaccination status for visiting professionals. The environment was clean with additional cleaning of frequently touched surfaces like handrails, and there was adequate personal protective equipment available with clear signage on proper use and handwashing techniques.
