Beaumont Park Nursing and Residential Home

Beaumont Park provides nursing and residential care to up to 46 people living with physical disabilities or dementia. The home operates across two floors with personalised bedrooms and shared communal spaces including lounges, dining areas, and a secure garden. At inspection, 23 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns about how residents were treated. People were not consistently shown kindness and compassion, and staff did not always respect privacy and dignity. Support did not consistently align with individual preferences, and residents went long periods without engagement or social activities. Care plans lacked detailed information about personal preferences and how people wished to be supported, with some residents living with dementia having no care plan in place. Staff communication with residents to support their needs was inconsistent. Management audits were not effective at identifying necessary improvements, and staff felt unsupported by the management team, reflecting a negative culture within the service.
