Our House

Our House is a care home providing support for up to 8 people with learning disabilities or autistic people. The CQC found the service had improved in some areas, including staff recruitment and the environment, but remained rated Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found ongoing weaknesses in staffing, safe care and governance, with weekend staffing levels still limiting people's access to the community, gaps in incident recording, and no clear protocols for "as required" medicines. Leadership had strengthened, with new team leader roles supporting the registered manager. People using the service and their relatives spoke positively about staff, describing them as caring and kind.
