Orchard House

Orchard House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 28 older people, including those with dementia-related illness. Ten places are available for people requiring shorter-term stays. At inspection, 27 residents were living at the home.

Staff demonstrate knowledge of how to keep people safe and protect them from harm. Sufficient, knowledgeable staff are available to meet residents' needs, and people receive their medicines regularly with safe systems in place for management and supply. The home investigates incidents and accidents, taking action to prevent recurrence. The premises are maintained free from odour, and staff follow infection control and prevention procedures consistently.
