Field Farm House Residential Home provides residential care for older people living with dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding a breach relating to governance. Inspectors identified safety risks from unsecured furniture and radiator covers, and gaps in infection control that oversight systems had failed to pick up.

On a more positive note, staff were well trained, managed medicines safely, and involved people in planning their care. People and relatives felt safe and spoke warmly of communication with staff and managers. Dignity in care needed some further attention, though overall people were treated with kindness and compassion.
