Field Farm House Residential Home

Field Farm House is a residential care home with four separate wings providing accommodation and personal care to up to 69 people aged 65 and over, with facilities specifically adapted for people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 48 people were resident in the service.

Staff demonstrated knowledge of keeping residents safe, with an understanding of individual risks to health and wellbeing. Specific risks, such as smoking preferences, were discussed with residents and documented in their care plans so staff could refer to them. The provider had taken steps to ensure the home was clean and odour free, with staff wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
