Oliver Court

Oliver Court provides care and accommodation for up to 24 people with mental health support needs. At the time of inspection, the home was operating at full capacity with a registered manager in post.

Inspectors found that medicine management required improvement. Records of administered medicines were not always clear and accurate, and guidance for "as required" medicines needed clarification to ensure staff understood when to administer them. Storage of temperature-sensitive medicines also needed attention, as there was no designated fridge for these medications.

While the home provided activities through its staff, feedback indicated these did not always meet the individual or specialist needs of residents on a day-to-day basis.
