Florence House

Florence House provides personal and nursing care to 27 people with mental health care and support needs. At the time of inspection, 17 people were living at the service while six were in hospital. The home was managing a COVID-19 outbreak during the visit.

People felt safe and well supported by care staff. They confirmed receiving medicines on time and enjoyed the available meals, including healthier options for weight management. Residents demonstrated awareness of safety measures in place and had access to personal protective equipment. Despite lockdown restrictions, people were engaged in activities at the service.
