Ogwell Grange Residential Care Home

Ogwell Grange provides personal care to up to 20 older people, some living with dementia, on the outskirts of Newton Abbot. At inspection there were 16 residents, accommodated across two floors with lift access. The home offers communal spaces including a dining room, lounge, and conservatory with views over the grounds and countryside.

While systems were in place to safeguard people, safeguarding concerns were not always handled appropriately. An allegation of abuse made in 2022 was not shared with the local authority or notified to CQC as required.
