Mapleton

Mapleton is a residential care home supporting up to 20 older people, including those living with dementia and learning disabilities. The service operates across two secure floors, with long-term residents on the ground floor and a first-floor short-stay assessment unit for people with complex needs transitioning from hospital. All bedrooms are en-suite with ceiling track hoists, and both floors provide kitchen, lounge, dining and outdoor spaces. The management team has created a person-centred, open and inclusive culture, addressing previous concerns and driving ongoing improvement. A relative commented positively on the changes, noting that management has transformed since their family member arrived, with staff appearing happy and the service well managed.
