Oakwood House

Oakwood House is a residential care home providing care and accommodation to 10 people with mental health needs. Staff treat people with dignity and respect, promoting their independence while maintaining privacy and offering choices in how care is provided. People and their relatives spoke positively about the service and the way staff supported them.

The home assesses care needs before people begin using the service and provides personalised care that takes account of their individual backgrounds and circumstances. Management works closely with other health professionals to ensure people have access to the services they need. Systems are in place to manage medicines safely, identify risks associated with people's care, and safeguard people from abuse.
