Oakwood Grange

Oakwood Grange is a residential care home accommodating up to 60 people, many of whom live with dementia, across two floors of a purpose-built building. At inspection, 51 people were using the service.

People, relatives and staff described Oakwood Grange as a safe place to live and work. Risk assessments were regularly reviewed, allowing people to take acceptable risks while remaining safe. The home properly reported, investigated and recorded accidents, incidents and safeguarding concerns. Staffing levels were appropriate to meet people's needs, with trained staff safely administering medicines and using Personal Protection Equipment correctly.
