Lindhurst Lodge Residential Home provides personal care for up to 37 people, mainly older residents and those living with dementia. Inspectors found some risks in the premises had not been properly managed, and quality monitoring systems were not always effective at picking up shortfalls. The CQC identified breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to governance, though medicines were managed safely overall.

Staff were found to be kind, attentive and respectful, treating people with dignity and understanding their individual needs well. Residents and relatives spoke positively about feeling safe and cared for, describing a supportive, person-centred culture. Leadership was visible, though improvements are needed to strengthen oversight and address safety concerns identified.
