Staff had completed training in infection control, COVID-19 protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment, with the registered manager conducting competency checks to ensure understanding. The home maintained adequate PPE supplies and staff used and disposed of equipment correctly. Testing arrangements were in place for both residents and staff in line with current guidelines, and most people and staff had received their first vaccine dose.
