Oakcroft House Care Home

Oakcroft House provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 40 people with physical needs and dementia. The service operates from an adapted house and was caring for 36 people at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated awareness of risks associated with people's care and ensured appropriate provision of medicines when needed.

However, staffing deployment was not always effective in delivering person-centred care. People reported they were not consistently offered baths or showers, despite records confirming this should be part of their care. The home received a recommendation to improve access to bathing facilities for all residents.
