Northam Lodge

Northam Lodge is a residential care home for up to 25 people with learning disabilities and complex physical disabilities across three separate houses: Northam Lodge, Christopher Lodge, and Gibson Lodge. Christopher and Gibson are purpose-built facilities, while Northam Lodge is an adapted large house with more than six bedrooms. The service does not provide nursing care.

The home prioritises choice, independence, and inclusion, encouraging residents with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities to live as ordinary a life as any citizen. The provider actively seeks ways to promote residents' use of local community facilities to ensure the service does not become isolated. Future developments are planned to move toward smaller houses of six or fewer people located off-site, in line with best practice guidance.
