The service facilitates timely discharges from hospital, helping people return home while improving their independence. On-site nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and social workers support residents to regain skills and abilities.

People are protected from harm and abuse, with risks to safety managed whilst respecting their freedom. Medicines are administered as prescribed and infection prevention systems are in place. At the time of inspection, 29 people were using the service.
