Baytree Court

Baytree Court is a residential care home accommodating up to 34 people, including older adults and those living with dementia. At inspection, 27 people were using the service. The home operates across two adapted floors, with one floor specialising in dementia care. Staff supported people to maintain maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approaches and acting in their best interests.

The service had effective safeguarding systems in place and managed concerns promptly, with lessons learned and shared to improve care. Risk assessments were person-centred and regularly reviewed. Staff understood their responsibility to report incidents and near misses and felt supported to do so. Adequate competent staffing was maintained on duty at all times to meet people's care needs.
