Nightingales Nursing Home

Nightingales Nursing Home accommodates up to 38 older people and specialises in caring for those requiring palliative and end of life care. The single-storey building features bedrooms with ensuite facilities and an enclosed courtyard garden. At the time of inspection, 33 people were resident.

The service demonstrated good practice in welcoming essential caregivers—relatives and friends providing companionship and additional support—and ensuring they had appropriate personal protective equipment. Staff maintained compassionate communication with residents and families, creating an environment where people felt supported during their final stages of life.
