About Nightingale Hall

Nightingale Hall is a residential care home in North Yorkshire. The findings below set out what CQC most recently found on inspection.

Nightingale Hall accommodates up to 40 people requiring nursing or residential care across two floors. At inspection, 29 residents were living there with access to communal areas. The home supported residents' social and emotional wellbeing through meaningful activities adapted for smaller groups or one-to-one sessions.

Staff used various methods including information technology to facilitate communication, and supported people to use social media and make video calls. Relatives could visit in a designated outdoor 'visiting pod' area with robust cleaning procedures in place. Essential visitors were required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, provide NHS Track and Trace information, and have their temperature checked before entering the home.
