Inspectors found that the home's admission systems ensured people entered safely, with the residential unit operating as a separate building with its own entrance and exit, reducing infection risk. Staff did not move between units, and people isolating had dedicated staff to meet their support needs.

The home followed national guidance on personal protective equipment use, with clear signage on correct PPE and handwashing techniques throughout. Staff had received appropriate infection control and prevention training.
