The Terrace

The Terrace provides nursing and residential care for up to 42 people, with 36 residents at the time of inspection. The home is built over four floors with access to communal areas including dining rooms and lounges. The home had implemented robust infection control measures, including appropriate PPE storage and dedicated areas for staff to safely don and remove protective equipment. Visitors were required to provide NHS Track and Trace information, negative COVID-19 test results, and temperature checks before entry. Relatives could visit residents in a designated indoor visiting pod with thorough cleaning procedures in place. Social distancing practices were maintained throughout the home, allowing residents to safely use shared communal spaces.
