The Gardens Care Home

The care home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 60 older people, with 39 residents at the time of inspection. Systems were in place to prevent the spread of infections, with only essential visits, health, compliance, and end-of-life appointments permitted. All visitors were screened for Covid-19 before entry.

The home supported both residents and staff in maintaining social distancing where possible. Seating in communal areas was spaced out to encourage residents to distance from one another, and staff break times were staggered to reduce contact between team members.
