New Milton House

New Milton House is a residential care home providing accommodation and support for up to 40 people, with 35 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home good overall. Inspectors found some gaps in medicines management and unsigned consent forms, both addressed during the assessment, alongside clean premises, well-trained staff and good links with health and community services.

Relatives told inspectors they felt confident their family members were safe and well cared for, describing staff as attentive and the premises as comfortable and secure. Feedback on monitoring of health and wellbeing was mixed, and there was some confusion over management roles while the registered manager was on leave, though relatives knew who to contact with concerns.
