Moorland House

Moorland House provides residential care for older people, including support for those experiencing delirium or emotional distress. Personalised care plans were reviewed regularly, and people were supported to manage their health, including access to seasonal vaccinations. The CQC found the home had made significant improvements since its previous inspection, resolving earlier breaches and raising its rating from Requires Improvement to Good.

Inspectors found enough staff were available, well trained, and supported by robust recruitment and induction processes. The provider worked effectively with health and social care agencies, and quality assurance systems helped drive ongoing improvement. Residents and relatives spoke warmly of kind staff and an approachable, well regarded manager.
