Grey Gables (New Milton) Limited

Grey Gables is a residential care home in New Milton providing personal care and accommodation for up to 24 people, mostly older adults living with dementia, alongside some younger adults with learning disabilities. Following a previous inspection that found breaches around safe care, staffing, dignity and consent, the CQC found significant improvements had been made and the home was no longer in breach of any regulations.

Inspectors found staff had completed further training, night staffing had increased, and interactions between people and staff were positive and respectful. Governance had strengthened under a new manager, though some further work on mental capacity assessments was still needed. Families told inspectors they felt confident in the care provided and able to raise concerns easily.
