Nazareth House - East Finchley

Nazareth House - East Finchley is a care home in East Finchley registered to accommodate up to 84 people, including some living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding that medicines were not always managed safely and care records were not consistently kept up to date. Quality assurance checks had failed to pick up these issues, and inspectors identified breaches relating to safe care and treatment and to governance.

Despite this, people and relatives spoke positively about staff and leadership, describing the home as well-managed and responsive. Most people felt safe, said there were enough staff, and felt involved in decisions about their care. The management team was reported to be committed to addressing the shortfalls identified.
