Eastside House

Eastside House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 16 people aged 65 and over, some of whom have dementia. At the time of inspection, 14 people were living in the home.

Inspectors found improvements had been made to management of the service, with progress in medicines management and care planning. However, the service needed to strengthen how it sets out and advises staff on managing risks and supporting people with behaviours that challenge. The home also needed to review accidents and incidents more thoroughly to ensure lessons were learned and all relevant health professionals were involved in this process.
