Myrtle Cottage

Myrtle Cottage is registered to care for up to six people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, four people were living in the two-storey detached property, which includes an open plan lounge and dining area, a sensory room, a kitchen, one bedroom and shared bathroom on the ground floor, with five further spacious bedrooms upstairs. The service is designed around values of choice, promotion of independence and inclusion, enabling people with learning disabilities and autism to live as ordinary a life as any citizen. The care home had been without a registered manager since August 2017.
