Muscliff Nursing Home

Muscliff Nursing Home provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 41 people, including older people and those living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's inspection, 15 people were living at the home. The home was previously in breach of regulations relating to dignity, safe care, safeguarding and governance, but inspectors found these issues had been resolved.

The service, previously in special measures, is no longer rated inadequate in any area and is now rated Good overall. Staff were described as approachable and kind, families felt involved and confident in care provided, and inspectors observed dignified, meaningful support. A new manager and stronger leadership oversight had helped drive lasting improvement.
