Mount Vale

Mount Vale provides nursing and residential care for up to 64 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 39 residents were living at the home, which is arranged over two floors with access to various communal areas. Staff implemented robust infection control measures, including PPE requirements, NHS Track and Trace procedures, and temperature checks for all staff and essential visitors. The home maintained ample supplies of appropriate PPE stored hygienically, with designated areas for staff to safely don and remove protective equipment. Staff actively supported residents' social and emotional wellbeing through various methods, including technology-based communication and tablets for video calls. The registered manager demonstrated quality systems in place to ensure the service provided safe care.
