Mount Hall Care Home

Mount Hall Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 33 people across two floors. At the time of inspection, 28 people were living at the home.

Governance processes were not always effective in monitoring the service. While auditing tools were in place, they failed to identify some concerns found during the inspection. Systems existed to record and analyse incidents, but investigations were not always thorough. Safeguarding concerns had not always been reported to the local authority, though the provider acted immediately when this was discussed, contacting the local authority's Safeguarding team for guidance. A safeguarding policy was in place and staff understood their roles within safeguarding.
