Mount Elton Nursing Home

People and staff felt safe and considered it a nice place to live and work. During the inspection, some shortfalls were identified including missing COVID risk assessments for staff and gaps in infection control and safeguarding training. The provider promptly addressed these concerns, confirming that staff received infection control training and were scheduled for safeguarding refresher sessions, with risk assessments completed following the inspection. All staff demonstrated good knowledge of infection control procedures for managing COVID and could identify abuse and knew who to report concerns to.
