Milton Court Care Home

Milton Court provides personal and nursing care to up to 148 people, typically older adults living with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and dementia. At inspection, 98 people were using the service, which operates across six units, with five in use. Two units provide nursing care. Each unit features communal areas including a lounge, dining room and kitchenette, with all bedrooms containing en-suite shower rooms.

The service did not always support people to follow their interests or provide sufficient engagement opportunities. Records were not consistently person-centred and staff sometimes took a task-led approach rather than focusing on individual needs. Staff engagement with residents and activity provision required improvement to better meet people's preferences and wellbeing.
