Bletchley House Residential Care and Nursing Home

This residential care and nursing home accommodates up to 44 people over and under 65, with one floor specializing in nursing care. At inspection, 28 people were using the service. Staff were recruited safely and received appropriate training, with all necessary infection prevention measures followed consistently. People told inspectors that staff were attentive to their needs.

However, medicines were not always stored safely, and risks associated with anticoagulants were not consistently documented in care plans despite comprehensive care planning overall. The home did not always ensure people had opportunities to do the things they wanted to do.
