Melbury House

Melbury House accommodates up to 34 older people, including those living with dementia or related conditions. At inspection, 29 people were using the service in one adapted building.

Staff demonstrated good knowledge of the people they supported. However, people were not always consulted or involved in daily decision-making, and the home's policies and systems did not consistently support choice and control in line with best practice. Improvements were needed to care records and other systems to ensure more person-centred approaches to support.
