Beachcomber Care Home

Beachcomber Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 48 people, with 41 residents at the time of inspection. People living there told inspectors they received safe care. Safety monitoring systems had improved since the last inspection, with risks documented, though some recording inaccuracies were noted. Staff understood current risks and how to respond to them, and concerns about safety were acted on promptly. Staff knew how to raise safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Medicines were managed safely overall. There was initially unclear written guidance about topical and "as and when needed" medicines, though the registered manager corrected this during the inspection. Safe staffing levels were observed at the service.
